On a rainy day at Ralph Stout Park, four old high school classmates had a conversation about what they could do to help people in Johnson County.  From that conversation, the issues that kept coming up were services and programs for the youth of the county while supporting the various organizations that were already working hard to make Johnson County a better place to live and work.  All of the people involved had grown up in Johnson County, left to pursue their education and career path, and found themselves back in Johnson County to live as seasoned professionals from a diverse background of experiences.

And with that, Hometown Service Coalition (HSC) was born.  We've gathered a group of committed people for the Board of Directors and our Advisory Board who have the best interests of Johnson County at the center mission.  Most were born and raised in Johnson County (TN) while others have found their way to the mountains and now call our valleys and hills their home.
